Hi, Welcome To My Blog!

We lose ourselves in books, we find ourselves there too.

God made the horse from the breath of the wind, the beauty of the earth, and the soul of an angel.

Books

So as you should know I LOVE books. I can read three LARGE books a day if I try and push myself a bit. I'm kinda addicted to reading. I like mostly all fiction genres, and a few books that aren't fiction. I'm gonna post a few books that I really love and would recommend people read. Although I can never pick a favorite book or series. Comment on and post books you like and would recommend I (or others) read.

Unfortunate Fairy Tales - Chanda Hahn

OMG, I love this series so much! The series is still being added too and so far only consists of Unenchanted and Fairest. I love this author. She has other many amazing series that she's starting (I haven't read them yet, but I can't wait to get my hands on them). This series has lots of really funny parts in them, but aren't just for comedy. I completely recommend people read them. I love Mina and Nan is soo goofy. =) I am definitely voting for Jared.
Mina is a decedent from the Brothers Grimm (the ones who wrote all the fairy tales like Little Red Riding Hood, etc.) and she is cursed. Really. She has to beat the Story on the Fae plane by completing all the fairy tales (with the help of a magical book called the Grimoire and Jared), but the bad guys are trying to steal the Grimoire and stop her from completing the quests.               Read the book description here:    http://www.amazon.com/UnEnchanted-Unfortunate-Fairy-Tale-ebook/dp/B006ROK1UM/ref=sr_1_6_bnp_1_kin?ie=UTF8&qid=1366161363&sr=8-6&keywords=chanda+hahn

Currently the kindle addition of Unenchanted is free on amazon, so hurry and get it and start reading. If you don't have a kindle no problem, there are all kinds of reading apps for all devices/computers free on amazon.

The Scorpio Races - Maggie Stiefvater

"It is the first day of November and so, today, someone will die." This is the amazing story of Puck & Dove and Sean & Corr.
Every year mainly during November on an island called Thisby water horses come from the sea and are used in the Scorpio Races. The riders try to keep a hold of their water horses to make it too the finish line. The water horses, also called capaill uisce (capall uisce is the form for one horse), are dangerous, fast, and wild. The ocean sings to them and their magic can entrance you as they plunge into the ocean and drown you, not to mention that they eat flesh and like killing. Sean and his red uisce stallion Corr have won the Scorpio Races four times, but this year more is at stake then just his life.
Puck (aka Kate Connolly) is the first girl to ever enter the race and there is a lot of objections by the other riders. Dove is Puck's horse, as in a regular horse, and regular horses are meals to capaill. Originally, she enters to try delaying her brother Gabe's leaving to the main land. But soon it becomes much more when she needs to win to save her house and Dove. Now Puck not only needs to stay alive but also beat the much larger, faster, and stronger capaill uisce.
I LOVE this book soo much; its completely amazing! I have reread it over and over again and I never get tired of it. The author is a great writer and she has some really great series I want to read. I have already read Shiver, the first book in the Shiver Trilogy, and I can't wait to get my hands on Linger. The Scorpio Races is sooo awesome and I very much recommend this whether your a horse lover or not, the book is not really about the horses (in a way. if you read it you'll understand what I mean).
